About ME

My love affair with photography started in 8th grade with my first trip out of the country and a 35mm camera.  The next year Rick Springfield 's tour came through Augusta, Georgia in 1984 with Corey Hart and that was the moment my dream of becoming a concert photographer officially began.  I was just a fan in a sea of other screaming high school girls with a 35mm camera and not very good....yet.  However, I did wear my sunglasses at night.

I'm a South Carolina professional photographer and drone pilot most often found covering concerts and sporting events in the South East.   I studied photography at Augusta State University and am a Certified Professional Photographer through Professional Photographers of America.  I've been a member of both the Georgia Professional Photographer's Association and Professional Photographers of America since 2016.   

 My work can be found in national, regional and industry magazines, printed on t-shirts, album covers, artist's socials, hanging in  many lobbies and corporate offices from Augusta, Georgia to Chicago, Illinois and on the walls of several music venues.   I've worked as the house photographer at the James Brown Arena and Bell Auditorium since 2017.   My references include musicians,  promoters, PR firms, arenas, theaters, Drag Boat and Nascar racing teams, politicians, radio stations, ad agencies, churches, and many corporate clients.  

And just for the record, 30 plus years later, I met Rick Springfield and Richard Marx  one night in that very same arena as the house photographer.  I limited my words while I shot their meet and greets  because somewhere inside me was a 13 year old me screaming at the top of her lungs.  Later I  had my picture taken with them both and we talked for a few minutes before the show.  Although that photo is a little blury, I smile each time I see it because Rick was every bit as lovely as I could imagine and I'm living the dream thanks to wanting my own photo of Rick Springfield on my wall back in the day.
